MASTER THIEF
Transferring ideas from one sector to another.
The inspired Leaders Network gave Hamish the title of Master Thief due to his record of transferring ideas from one sector to another.
In his line career he progressed from P&G Consumer Goods to Price Waterhouse professional services, Airlines at BA, Railways at Eurostar and Financial Services at Sainsbury’s Bank. In each case, he was able to take the lessons learned to introduce new thinking in each organisation.
In specific projects “stealing ideas” became a way of injecting innovation – including Yacht designers to introduce flat beds to BA and Disney to provide new insights into queuing systems.
Since moving into the Keynote and advisory world, the Master Thief approach has formed a key part of his advice to clients looking for their own breakthroughs.
